• Password (stored securely by Firebase Authentication — we never see your plain password)
• Google account profile (if you sign in with Google — name and email only)

3.2 Usage Data (Local Storage)

We store the following data locally on your device using browser localStorage/AsyncStorage:

• Selected subjects and study preferences
• Exam timer state (to resume where you left off)
• Streak and progress data
• Language preference
• Premium subscription status

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.

3.3 AI Features

When you use the AI Study Buddy or Speaking Test features:

• Your chat messages are sent to Groq (groq.com) for AI processing
• Audio recordings for the Speaking Test are temporarily processed by Groq's Whisper API for transcription and then discarded
• We do not store your AI conversations or audio recordings on our servers

3.4 Payment Information

If you purchase Beevise Pro:

• Payment processing is handled by Paymob and Fawry
• We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details
• We store only a transaction reference for subscription management

4. How We Use Your Data

• Authentication: To verify your identity and secure your account
• Service delivery: To provide past papers, AI tutoring, and exam features
• AI processing: To power the Study Buddy and Speaking Test (processed by Groq)
• Payment processing: To manage Pro subscriptions (processed by Paymob/Fawry)

5. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process your data under the following legal bases:

• Consent: You agree to this policy when you create an account
• Contract: To provide the services you signed up for

• Audio recordings: Processed and discarded immediately

Beevise is designed for students aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

11. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage and React Native AsyncStorage to store your preferences and study data locally. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

The data stored locally includes your selected subjects, language preference, exam progress, and premium status.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Firebase Authentication with secure password hashing
• No storage of payment card details
