Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Beevise ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Beevise is an IGCSE revision platform available at beevise.app, operated by Abdelrahman Derby ("we", "our", "us").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Beevise. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Service.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must not share your account with others
• You may delete your account at any time from the app settings

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Content

The Beevise app, its design, code, AI features, and original content are owned by Abdelrahman Derby and protected by international copyright laws.

4.2 Examination Board Materials

Past papers, mark schemes, and related materials available through Beevise are the intellectual property of their respective examination boards:

• Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE)
• Edexcel (Pearson)
• OxfordAQA

These materials are used for educational and revision purposes only, in accordance with fair use principles. Beevise is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any examination board.

4.3 Copyright Removal (DMCA) Notice

If you are the owner of any content displayed on Beevise and believe it infringes your rights, please send us a written removal notice containing:

• Your full name, contact details, and (if applicable) the organisation you represent
• Identification of the copyrighted work and the specific URL(s) or paper(s) in question
• A statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you have a good-faith belief the content is unauthorized
• Your physical or electronic signature

Send notices to support@beevise.app. We respond to all valid removal requests within 48 hours and remove or disable access to any content we are satisfied infringes a third party's rights, without prejudice to our position that the content is reproduced for permitted educational purposes. If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may send a written counter-notice to the same address.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Beevise's original content without permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Upload malicious content or interfere with the Service
• Impersonate another user or entity
• Use the AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content

6. AI Features

Beevise provides AI-powered features (Study Buddy, Speaking Test) powered by Groq. You understand that:

• AI responses may not always be accurate or complete
• AI should be used as a study aid, not as a replacement for qualified teaching
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content
• Your chat messages are processed by Groq's API and not stored by us

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1 Free Tier

Beevise offers a free tier with access to past papers, AI Study Buddy, and other core features.

7.2 Beevise Pro

Beevise Pro provides additional features. Subscription terms:

• Payments are processed securely by Paymob and Fawry
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@beevise.app

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The content is always accurate or up-to-date
• AI features will produce correct results
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beevise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Requests by law enforcement

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration.
